Leadership
A communication skill that I possess and have utilized is leadership. I have demonstrated this through my time as assistant manager at Jersey Mikes and have recently been promoted to General Manager.
How my curriculum helped me build this skill:
In my COM 460 class we researched a multitude of leadership styles and Inclusive Leadership is what best fits my style of leadership which is why I chose to present this PowerPoint on that specific style.
How this skill has helped me in the real world:
In my time as an Assistant Manager and most recently General Manager at Jersey Mike’s , I have led my crew to one of the most profitable years in the store’s history. My hard work and dedication rubbed off on those around me and motivated them to elevate the store to heights it hasn’t seen in two years since opening.
